We are looking for a motivated & dependable research professional to join our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator!
Essential Job Duties: The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC), as delegated by the principal investigator, executes and coordinates daily clinical research activities according to CRA’s SOPs, GCP and FDA/ICH guidelines. Working under the direction of the principal investigator, the CRC’s responsibilities include:
1. Becoming thoroughly familiar with the protocol, case report form, informed consent, source documentation, patient diary (when applicable) and study medication(s) for the assigned research study;
2. Ensuring IRB approved protocols are implemented and followed;
3. Executing informed consent process and monitoring patient status and safety;
4. Managing and participating in study recruitment to ensure enrollment goals are met or exceeded;
5. Performing appropriate research protocol procedures which may include, but are not limited to, vital signs, blood collection and processing, EKGs, as well as other tests related to the study.
6. Maintaining and dispensing study product and supplies;
7. Collecting and organizing research data;
8. Scheduling and conducting study specific training and site in-services to study-related staff on new or amended protocols;
9. Completing and ensuring the quality of case report forms;
10. Maintaining source documents;
11. Ensuring site quality.
Requirements
Requirements: 1+years of experience in research AND a BS/BA or RN degree; OR 2+years of experience in research AND a current MA license; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, strong organization skills and a strong attention to detail
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Certification from either ACRP (CCRC) or SoCRA (CCRP) will be required once all training and experience qualifications have been met.

1. Knowledge, skill, and ability: Demonstrated ability to learn and follow procedures and protocols for a behavioral research project. Use of a computerized database is required for tracking participant information, scheduling assessment appointments and therapy sessions, collecting and storing assessment data, etc. Use of digital video recording equipment is also required. Flexibility to work on a variety of specific research tasks. Ability to communicate effectively with research staff and with program personnel and research participants, both verbally and in writing. Ability to travel and/or work evening and weekends and to increase effort on project during critical times.

2. Experience and training: Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred but not required. Previous experience in a research or clinical setting is highly desirable, but not required. Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the job.

3. Personal traits and characteristics: Must be able to work effectively with others and have good interpersonal skills for engaging and interacting with clinical populations. (e.g., addressing unexpected clinical situations, maintaining participant confidentiality, etc.) Comfort in working with individuals from various racial, cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds is essential. A professional manner is required for interacting with community referral sources (e.g., school counselors, juvenile probation office, etc.), project investigators, other ORI personnel, etc. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
